Rectifier Applications in Molten Salt Electrolysis

Chloride Molten Salt Electrolysis

Chloride molten salt electrolytic cells require voltages of 8–12 V and currents of 6 kA–20 kA, with a ripple requirement of ≤5%. Thyristor rectifiers are recommended, as they are mature and short-circuit resistant.

Oxide-Fluoride Molten Salt Electrolysis

Oxide-Fluoride Molten Salt Electrolysis Cell Voltage: 10-15 V, Current: 8 kA-15 kA, Ripple Requirements: ≤3%. An IGBT high-frequency switching power supply or synchronous rectification high-frequency power supply is recommended.

Extraction Electrodeposition

Description: Extraction Electrodeposition Cell Voltage: 30-60 V, Current: 500 A-3 kA, Ripple Requirements: ≤2%. Periodic reverse pulse function is required. A high-frequency switching power supply + pulse module is recommended.

Wastewater Electrocoagulation

Wastewater Electrocoagulation Cell Voltage: 20-30 V, Current: 100 A-1 kA, Timed reverse pulse function is required. A modular high-frequency switching power supply is recommended.
